Choosing the right table centre will make all the difference to your event.
Intimate Venue
For a smaller low ceilinged room there is nothing better than a bundle of perfumed, largeheaded roses with a few sprigs of foliage in a small vintage rose bowl . . . or a dumply little jug - to give a cosy cottage feel that will really contribute to the intimacy of a smaller gathering. Depending on the time of the year, if you'd like to keep things seasonal you could perhaps swap out the roses for a colourful variety of short stemmed spring flowers.
At some venues you will have long narrow tables, not leaving much room on the table for a bowl or jug of flowers, in which case a slim vase might work better, giving more room on the table.
PREPARATION
When meeting with the Wedding co-ordinator for your wedding venue it would be an idea to ask for a list of everything that will be going on the table - you may be surprised! This is not to put you off, but to make sure that we get the presentation right. Correct visuals will not only make things easier on the eye, but facilitae better 'table management on the day'.
YOUR FLORIST will want to establish with you -;
- Your STYLE preference
- Your choosen 'colours'
- Your options for flowers.
LARGER VENUES
. . . generally mean . . . higher ceilings . . . bigger tables . . . MORE people - and with that comes the desire to make an IMPACT on ENTRANCE!
Taller vases not only lift your flowers away from the table clutter, but bridge the gap between the table and the ceiling. GASPS - and a gentle hummm, as your guests enter the room . . . with the invitation 'please take your seats' - across the table glances and happy chatter remain uninterupted . . . beneath scented lilies, roses, freesias, lisianthus, stocks and more, tumbling into 'their own space' with delicate trails and romantic ferns.
Sumptuous displays -;
- instantly create a great AMBIANCE
- promote the 'feelgood' factor
- BRIDGE the gap between table and ceiling
- add a sense of decadence to your event
- remind your guests how lucky they are to have had an ivitation!
- stimulate conversation . . . .
. . . . as frienships are re-ignited/family re-united/new relationships embraced - the latest news . . . is about YOU!
SHOWCASE!
Foyers and entrance halls of greater properties often house a beautifully shaped table, perfectly placed . . . and just 'begging' for an elaborate display of the 'Wild and Wonderful'. Aromatic foliages arranged with scented flora in 'Constance Spry' fashion . . . work their hypnotic charm, to lure you in, diffuse your worries and make you OURS!
