DAYS to Look Out for in March!11 March 2025 You don't need an event to give flowers, but the list below will give you plenty to think about - with the MAIN EVENT being Mother's Day on the 30th! 1st March: St. David's Day is 'Daffodil Day'...but March is also Daffodil month! 7th: Employee Appreciation Day 8th: International Women's Day 17th: St. Patrick's Day 20th: Spring Equinox 20th: 'Happiness' Day 30th: MOTHER'S DAY ST. PATRICK'S DAY The 17th of March is the day that we celebrate Irish culture & heritage. The shamrock is the Irish sign of good luck, but with its tiny stem we have trouble incorporating it into our bouquets 😂...we will, however, have 'Bells of Ireland' and green Carnations, green Lisianthus. Basically, anything green! SPRING Equinox/HAPPINESS Day! Happiness Day was established in 2012. Was it purposefully set for the Spring Equinox or was it coincidence? Whatever the answer, I guess it was brilliantly chosen as the happiest time of the year.
