Take a look at our ‘Happy’ Roses and you will smile!  People smile the second they see our Happy Roses’ amazing vibrant colours.  Other people need to look at the roses for a while, and even touch the rose petals, before incredulity gives way to a smile.  And then the questioning.

The wonderful rainbow colours in our fascinating Happy roses are produced in Holland.  Each flower has to have individual attention from the grower in order to get all the beautiful colours in one rose.  This actually happens after the ‘white’ rose is grown and cut.  The stem of each flower is then cut downwards and each portion of the roses stem is put into a different colour dye and left to drink it up.  No doubt there are some secrets as to how they achieve this process so successfully.

Little girls absolutely adore them!  For them the story goes a little differently . . . . “fairies come in first thing in the morning before we open up and paint them for us” – they love it!  Mums and Dads are often persuaded by their children to but them their very own Happy Rose.  Quite often the Happy Rose is the first flower that they’ve ever been bought.  We put single Happy Roses in a black presentation sleeve and finish it off with a ‘gem stone, a piece of ribbon, a care card and a ‘Flowers by Nicole’ label – very posh.  If the weather is hot and our customer has a long way to travel, we re-cut the stem of the Happy Rose and put it into a file or tube of water before wrapping the Happy Rose in tissue paper. The perfect inexpensive ‘special’ gift for the special person in your life.
