WHAT TO DO when the FLOWERS ARRIVE for your 'Norfolk Wedding'

So the day has arrived and you are so excited!

You have been advised to allow TWICE as much time for ‘everything’ and you are very glad you did, the ‘feeling of anticipation’ is amazing, you want to ‘cherish every moment’ and be your loveliest  ‘with-in and without’ for the WHOLE DAY not just the wedding itself.

You are really going to SOAK IT ALL IN  and enjoy the ‘bubble’ around you, the hub-bub of those dear to you as they all ‘do their bit’ to make sure you have -;

                                    A DAY TO REMEMBER.

All the hard work that you have put in to ‘planning your Norfolk wedding’ will now pay off, but only if you let it!

Stepping back and ‘allowing’ yourself to be PAMPERED was always part of the deal.

When your wedding flowers arrive. . .

. . . there is a strong possibility that you could be with your HAIR or MAKE-UP ARTIST, so ‘make arrangements beforehand’- put someone ‘in charge’ while you are INDISPOSED

Your BRIDAL FLOWERS are best stored . . .

. . . in a cooler place if possible (not the fridge it is TOO cold there) – definitely AWAY from direct sunlight.

. . . in ‘TRAFFIC FREE’ zone and out of the reach of ‘curious children’ 😉

Your FLORIST

  • will be very busy unloading all the displays that she has so carefully prepared, bringing everything together and ‘Maximising the Impact’ of each of your WEDDING SPACES.

Buttoniere’s

. . . will be left at a mutually agreed place for ‘members of your bridal party’ and/or guests to help themselves.  Part of your preparation will have been a discussion with the Wedding Planner of your Venue - to ensure that ‘no one sees or enters your wedding reception area’ before YOU are BOTH there to ‘receive your guests’.

Once you are dressed . . .

you will ‘take some time to stand in front of a full length mirror’. . ;

  • take a few long, slow, deep breaths, in through your nose and out through you mouth, pulling your shoulders back as you do so and ‘standing taller’ with every breath.
  • when you are ready you will take your bridal bouquet and bring your hands together on the handle, remembering to maintain your breathing and hold your shoulders back.
  • your elbows should be loose and your wedding bouquet ‘low’, this will show you and your wedding dress off most elegantly..
  • Maintaining your breathing will keep you relaxed, if your elbows tighten your wedding flowers will naturally ride up and hide the front of your dress.
  • take a moment to look down and mentally ‘clock’ where your Brides Bouquet is in relation to your WEDDING DRESS
  •  practice holding your bouquet down and to one side for those ‘Stylish Casual Photographs’ that you will treasure forever.

Finally - you are ready . . . and your BRIDESMAIDS are waiting!
